Transparent-effect coating and screen printing on glass for perfumery

At Serigrafia Portal, we are specialists in industrial coating and screen printing on glass for perfumery and cosmetic packaging. This project carried out for Essenza combines two key techniques: transparent-effect coating and screen printing for branding and logo marking.

The transparent-effect coating allows for the application of colour while maintaining the natural depth and luminosity of the glass. This type of finish is particularly valued in perfumery packaging, as it adds sophistication without concealing the shape or content of the bottle. The result is an elegant, lightweight, and visually appealing container.

Screen printing on glass has been applied over the coated surface, a technique that guarantees precision, resistance, and durability. The brand and logo are perfectly integrated into the packaging design, strengthening the product's identity without interfering with the chromatic finish.

All our processes take place at our double painting station, custom-designed at our facility in Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona) and operational since 2016. This infrastructure allows us to apply—with total control—techniques such as single-coat, double-coat, gradient, transparent-effect, and frosted finishes, adapting to the specific needs of each project.

At Serigrafia Portal, we work exclusively with non-toxic water-based inks, free from solvents and heavy metals. This choice reduces environmental impact while offering excellent quality, uniformity, and colour stability.
